Smart Spot Removal

Chewing gum

Gum can be removed by freezing it. Place a bag of ice on the spot, or place the entire piece of fabric in the freezer for a short while. Doing so will allow the gum to be scraped off the fabric. Use pure alcohol if there is any residue. An eraser can be used on hard surfaces. It is also possible to press a piece of sandpaper against the spot and iron it on the reverse side with a warm iron.

Wax

Break off as much wax as possible. Place a paper towel on both sides of the fabric and iron the back of the spot. The wax will be absorbed by the paper under the fabric. It is also possible to place the fabric in the freezer and then break off the wax.
